How Asia Works

How Asia Works, by Joe Studwell

Not one of the greatest books I’ve ever read. I found it too technical and repetitive, somewhat academic but fascinating treatise on what really works in East Asia, and why.

At points, it get too long as the author give too many examples to support quite simple theses. In my view, there are more interesting books on Asia to spend time on.
